But these aren’t your everyday, static images – you get live-streaming updates, no refresh required – AND they’re linked to our market scanning engine, AND your watchlists , AND your portfolios.
You can use them to:
- Instantly scan the market using our built-in presets
- Run a heatmap over your own watchlists or trading accounts
- Build custom heatmaps using the powerful tools in the scanning engine
- Rapidly toggle between different scans to find out what’s happening, quickly
For example:
- Scan by ‘Top 500’, colour by ‘Monthly Change’, size by ‘Market Cap’, group by ‘Sector’ – to find the big movers over the last month
- Scan by ‘My Watchlist’, colour by ‘Daily Change’, size by ‘Daily Volume’, group by ‘Industry’ – to get an overview of stocks of interest that are doing big volume
- Scan by ‘Gapped Up on Open’, colour by ‘Change from High to Last’, size by ‘Market Cap’, group by ‘Sector & Industry’ – to see what’s rallying further, or being sold into
To open the heatmaps, simply click the icon in the top RHS of any chart. Then, as usual, go around and click all the buttons.
