Major Upgrade #32: Common-base & logscale charts – and talking alerts!

FocusPro now lets you compare stocks the way professionals do, with new common‑base and log-scale charts!

Instead of eyeballing different price scales, you can rebase any group of stocks, ETFs or indices to the same starting point and instantly see what is really outperforming over your chosen timeframe – then scroll in or out as usual.

Our common-base charts are on mobile – and on PC you can have multiple panels with different common-base charts in each. Even save it as a template, to come back to later.

All tiers now include logarithmic (log‑scale) charting.

On a log scale, equal percentage moves look the same on the chart – whether a stock goes from 50c to $1 or $10 to $20 – giving you a cleaner view of trend strength, volatility and drawdowns across big price ranges.

Log‑scale comes into its own on multi‑year charts and high‑beta names, where linear charts flatten the early moves and exaggerate the late ones. With a single toggle you can flip between linear and log, making it much easier to judge long‑term compounding, compare stocks at different price levels and spot real breaks in trend rather than just big dollar swings.

The day your trading platform started talking…

For website users, FocusPro now lets you hear exactly what happened.

Of course, you might prefer a beep (or maybe an ambulance siren) but now you can have the alert speak the event itself – eg: “BHP has traded below $40” – so you know what fired without looking at the screen. You can even modify each alert output to say whatever you want it to say!

Just set your alert, pick your preferred sound output, and FocusPro will call out the move in real time so you can react faster and miss fewer opportunities.

Only on the website version, and only saying what you asked it to say – for now…
